What’s Covered:
1. Item Not Received: If the plant or item is not sent or fails to arrive.
2. Damaged Plants: If the plant arrives damaged or unsalvageable, or differs materially from the listing.
3. Incorrect/Missing Items: If the buyer receives the wrong item or parts of the order are missing.
4. Item Not as Described: If the plant differs significantly in species, size, or condition from the description.
5. Shipping Errors: If the seller uses an incorrect address for shipping.

What’s Not Covered:
– Items the buyer simply doesn’t like.
– Buyer’s error in providing an incorrect shipping address.
– Purchases made outside the Leafkin platform.
– Stolen packages or items seized by the courier service.

Return Policy:
All sales on Leafkin are final. However, buyers can file a claim if they don’t receive their plant, or if the plant they receive is not as described. Buyers have 48 hours after delivery to file a claim for issues related to the plant’s condition or description. If the plant doesn’t arrive, buyers should file a claim as soon as they become aware of the issue. Claims are generally processed within 5-10 business days. We also encourage buyers to contact the seller first to resolve any issues directly.

Filing a Claim:
– For undelivered plants, submit a claim as soon as the issue is realised.
– For received items, claims must be filed within 48 hours of delivery.
– Buyers must retain the plant in its original condition during the dispute process.

4. Transaction Process:
All transactions must occur on the Leafkin platform. Off-platform sales or communications are not allowed. Payment is held by Leafkin until the buyer confirms receipt or two days after delivery.

5. Returns and Refunds:

How Payments and Payouts Work

When a customer makes a purchase and the seller accepts the order, the buyer’s card is charged, and the balance is held in the seller’s account. The funds are released once the buyer confirms receipt or two days after delivery.

For first-time sellers, payouts are typically processed 7–14 days after the first payment, and funds will be deposited into your bank account via Stripe. Any discrepancies in the shipping address may cause delays in accessing your funds.

Leafkin is a UK-based marketplace for plants, accessories, growing mediums, seeds, fertilizers, and select tools. You can sell full plants, clippings, and imported plants—just be sure to include the import date and acclimate the plants properly.

Creating Listings
Post real photos of your items, not stock images, and provide accurate descriptions. Honesty helps reduce the risk of disputes and ensures successful transactions.

Successful Sales
Once you accept an order, you’re expected to complete the sale and ship the item promptly. Cancellations can cause confusion and disappointment, so aim to avoid them.

Shipping Practices

Bullying and Harassment

Vulgarity and Obscenity

No Soliciting Donations
